Bazlama Breakfast House Teşvikiye / İstanbul

The famous Bazlama breakfast house of Çeşme is now in Teşvikiye – İstanbul with its delicious flat baked breads.The writing you see on the entrance does really atract your atention: “No way to leave here without feeling full”.

At Bazlama Breakfast House where it is impossible to leave the table without feeling full, various tastes from all over Turkey have brought different tastes to the breakfast concept. Tomatoes are brought from the fields of Çeşme, butter is from Trabzon, home made sausage is from Kayseri and the olives are brought from Hatay. Home made jams and the black mulberry and whey cheese are the rare tastes to be found. At the place where there is only a single type of breakfast, the cheese plate served with green herbs, the dish made of tomatoes (acuka), eggplant and cheese Turkish pancakes, eggplant cooked in cinder, the fried puff pastry and the delicious spicy Turkish omelet menemen all garnish the table. You can order more of these tastes if you wish to eat more. You do not have to pay a respective fe for these extras. The teapot brought to your side is always kept hot. This is enabled with some kind of fuel in the form of gel put under the teapot.

If you wish to eat a good weekend breakfast, you can visit this small but cozy place. As the place is quite small and if you do not wish to wait at the door in the queue, you should have a reservation made beforehand. The working hours are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the hours 09:00 – 15:00 and the breakfast fee per person is 40 TL.
